We enter the alien world through the eyes of Jake Sully, a former Marine confined to a wheelchair. But despite his broken body, Jake is still a warrior at heart. He is recruited to travel light years to the human outpost on Pandora, where corporations are mining a rare mineral that is the key to solving Earth's energy crisis. Because the atmosphere of Pandora is toxic, they have created the Avatar Program, in which human "drivers" have their consciousness linked to an avatar, a remotely-controlled biological body that can survive in the lethal air. These avatars are genetically engineered hybrids of human DNA mixed with DNA from the natives of Pandora... the Na'vi. Reborn in his avatar form, Jake can walk again. He is given a mission to infiltrate the Na'vi, who have become a major obstacle to mining the precious ore. But a beautiful Na'vi female, Neytiri, saves Jake's life, and this changes everything. Jake is taken in by her clan, and learns to become one of them, which involves many tests and adventures. As Jake's relationship with his reluctant teacher Neytiri deepens, he learns to respect the Na'vi way and finally takes his place among them. Soon he will face the ultimate test as he leads them in an epic battle that will decide nothing less than the fate of an entire world.

其實呢套電影真係冇乜嘢可以講，因為真係有讚冇彈，而可以讚嘅地方實在太多，廣大嘅網站、報章、blogs 都已經講過唒，冇咩需要喺度重複。

講下個人觀賞後嘅感受啦:

我真係佩服 James Cameron 呢位導演! 佢之前 d 經典作如 Alien, Terminator, Titanic 等，都係令人印象深刻到不得了嘅! 佢又整多套 Avatar 出嚟，本來我都唔係期望咁高，覺得 Sci-fi 同 CG 都睇唔少啦，3D 亦唔係咩新嘢，所以唔覺得 Avatar 可以有咩咁突出! 但睇完出嚟，真係完全改觀呢!!

Avatar 個故事其實就好簡單，所以唔似得 Terminator 嗰 d 以 idea / plot 去吸引我，但係 Avatar 製作上嘅認真、畫面上嘅仔細、場景嘅設計，真係將視覺享受帶到另一個層次呢!! 再加上佢嘅 3D 效果，唔似得其他一般嘅 3D 電影為 3D 而 3D，一味就係將 d 嘢整到好近觀眾咁，而 Avatar 嘅 3D，只係用嚟加強視覺享受，另畫面更壯麗、更有真實感! 能夠咁樣利用而唔係濫用電腦特技，James Cameron 真係聰明之至!!

我同一班男仔朋友去睇嘅! 全男班因為諗住呢類 Sci-fi 電影 d 女士們冇乜興趣。睇完後，個個都話多數會睇多次，因為要帶女朋友/老婆去睇! 而後來 d 女朋友/老婆去睇完，個個都話好睇! 所以，您千其唔好犯同一錯誤喎! 第一次去睇就要帶埋另一半喇! 唔係就要俾多一次錢!

不過，都值回票價嘅!!!

yeah, i agree with mickey for the most part.

the film is almost flawless and full of surprises. despite the storyline is a bit cliche for my taste.

the visual is totally breathtaking, it's a movie experience i would highly recommend without reservations.

Don't follow the crowd: that's the easiest way to get lost.

What does not kill me makes me stronger.

白手兄，也可以那樣說! 我相信未來的電影，會以 "把觀眾帶進電影中" 為目標，務求令觀眾忘記自己是在看電影，而是 "親身" 去感受電影中角色的經歷。

3D能給與的是像真, 能否有親身感, 相信要戲中的內裡人物生出互動效果, 帶觀眾入戲才行
