Guys, I want to ask some opinion from you guys.  

I have a humidifier which bought 1 year ago.  It comes with 3 years warranty.  I took it out from my storage and use it again for this winter.  But it doesn’t work.  I brought it back to store, and they can’t fix it (don’t know what’s the reason).  They said they can give me 2 options.  1)  They can ship it back to the factory which in U.S, and they will fix it for me.  But it will take 2-3 weeks, and I have to pay $35 for shipping.  (no charge for fix the humidifier, because it still under the warranty).  I ask why I need to pay for the shipping.  The store said the warranty only cover all damage part in 3 years, not include the shipping.

係呀, 有部份人會以為用 wireless n 就有 gb internet speed!

無錯, 真係有 gb wireless connection speed, 但只限自己係 network 內! 即係自己 network 內的機與機就有, 但到 isp 就落返去自己個 plan 的 speed 啦! 即係話, 唔好諗用 dial-up + wireless n 都會快過 54kb/s!!

The second option is:  If I don’t want to pay the shipping, and don’t want to wait for 2-3 weeks.  Then I can pay $50 to get another humidifier (which is higher model…it has digital panel, and digital humidity sensor and etc…)   So which option that you guys will pick?

ben, I think I would pay $15 more to get a new one.  who knows how long it will last after u fixed your current one?  but I personally never owned a humidifier before so I don't know much about it.

remember my hot water pot? it caused lots of trouble for warranty...
it wasn't a repair.. just an exchange
but it took me 4 months and wrote 3 different letters in order to get a new one back
i almost wanted to send panasonic a bomb if they were not going to send me a new one....

mine was panasonic and i had to pay for shipping too....

yeah ben, unfortunately that's a common practice with waranties...which usually don't cover shipping cost...if i were you, i would just spend my $35 on a different humidifier from elsewhere, the hell with this company, man!!! LOL
