I must say I do not know much history about this country. However, when I heard that it is still a military controlled government, I was shocked. I was not aware that there is still military controlled government.
Anyway, back to the topic. The reason for this riot is because of the oil price. The price, to be honest, has raised to a unreasonable price. Caused people not even have the money to pay for the bus fare.

The monks are only there to support the people. They technically did not do anything wrong. Their support gave an invisible pressure to the government since monks are the majority of this country.

Okay, these are the facts that causing this problem. Of course, the government did certainly use the wrong way to stable the country. However, the monks are really brave this time that they did to support the poor side.

假如你係個已经活過數世紀嘅人，咁你哋覺唔覺得最近有關緬甸啲新閒片有似曾相識嘅感覺呢？

1.  僧侶示威 -- ６Ｏ年代初的越南西貢，最初亦係由僧侶發起，最後天主教的吴廷炎總统及其弟双双被暗殺，美軍界入演變為戰爭，７５年越南全面赤化收場

2.  軍警振壓 -- ８Ｏ年代末的天Ｘ門事件，最後坦克部隊入城，流血清場，到廿多年後的今天還有週年燭光紀念會﹔香港政客只要對事件稍作修飾 (如最近去世的馬Ｘ)，便會令廣大市民作出負面的反應

如今緬共向手無寸鐵的平民百姓開火，對新閒工作者打壓、殺害，又將己被長期軟禁的昂山素姬正式拘禁，镇壓之手法，實天理不容也。

人權是不可忽視的！
