need help about bt download

recently, I reformat my Pc, so I have to reinstall all the program, after I did that, I try to dl some TVB series through bt, however it doen't work, it cannot connect any seed. It can only connect the local one but not the remote seed, the max is only 2-3 kbs.
so I don't know, I tried to use the bt engie with it, sometimes it works, it can up to 200kbs,
but sometimes it still doen't work, download for a whole day only got 20% done, so what can I do?

Are you using a router?  Do you have any firewall or Internet Security software installed?

Before, if a BT client not able to connect to other peers, it was the ports got blocked.  But I thought nowadays these kind of problems are not an issue anymore.  Are you using BitComet?

I am using bitcomet 0.7, and I am using a router , I have a firewall.
but I  opened the port for bt already, actually, I didn't change anything, just reformat my pc. Do u think, do I have to do the port fordwarding again! and can you tell me how to do the port fordwarding, is that related to this?

I did the port fordwarding already, but nothing change, today my bt only up to 10kbs, so don't know what happen !

how about disable the firewall and any network security software just to see if it makes a difference?

After reformatting the hard-drive, you reinstalled everything right?  Did you install from a hard-drive image?  

Also try to connect the internet directly to your PC (without the router), and see if that makes a difference.
