Exactly agree with Ultraegg's suggestion.
My recent experience of blue screen kept happening with my computer, Vista's troubleshooting found that may be caused by the memories' hardware defect, then I used Windows Memory diagnosetic tools to find out one of my ram turned defective which have been used for almost 2 years without problem until recently, everything fine after I pull it out and I sent it back for replacement since most of the memory come with lifetime warranty.

you can go to this site to download the program to test the memory.  [url]http://www.memtest.org/[/url]  or go to temporary folder to delete all the files and folders(some files or folders may be cannot delete). and try to run "chkdsk /f" then reboot system.

到現時為止(過了10天)... 都沒有再出現 BLUE SCREEN 了, 但我怕再會出現,SO 我先不把這個POST 關掉...

Windows Memory diagnosetic tools 我未用過, 所以唔肯定無問題的定義, 我當初的意思係指2條唔同牌子的memory, 就算功上無問題, 完全正常運作, 但有時會有可能出現not compatible (可能係當用到某一運算/溫度 ... 等), 但你依家又無事 ... :pn28:  有無係咩特定情況下出現blue screen?

而"chkdsk" 係 DOS command, 主要作用係 harddrive status report. 而 "/f" 係 修正hdd 的問題, 例如bad sector ....
